If my actual roster ended up looking anything close to the result of this fantasy football mock draft whenever actual draft day rolls around, I would be absolutely thrilled.
Chubb and Edwards-Helaire as my top two running backs gives me two RB1s that also have top-five potential at the position. In a 10-team, non-PPR format, that’s immensely valuable and gives me an immense advantage over the rest of the league with players I deem as high-floor, high-upside commodities.
The wide receiver group here may not have the ceiling of the running backs but they do all fill the role of being non-PPR studs who all have solid top-20 expectations. Pair that with Josh Allen at quarterback and Zach Ertz at tight end, and you have to like the baseline production you’re going to get there week-in and week-out.
What I really love about this roster is the fliers. From Jones to Howard to Hardman to Kirk to Harris to Gibson, anyone from this group has the potential to be a legitimate league-winner if the best-case scenario for them plays out in relation to where they were drafted. They are the types of players who give you an immediate advantage if they hit right.
Ultimately, the only thing I would potentially change would be taking Dak Prescott in Round 6 and then Mark Andrews in Round 7. But hindsight is 20-20 and, with how I saw this mock draft in the moment, this is a great roster that should compete for a fantasy championship.
