Three Dallas Cowboys questions still looming as training camp wears on.
We are less than three weeks away from the start of the 2020 NFL season. For the Dallas Cowboys, their season starts on Sunday Night Football when they travel to Southern California to play the Los Angeles Rams on Sept. 13.
That will be the first-ever game played in the beautiful new SoFi Stadium and it will be a historic one — not just because it’s the first, but also because there will be no fans in attendance.
The Rams recently announced that they will not be allowing fans in their stadium “until further notice” due to concerns about the coronavirus outbreak.
"“Joining a list of other NFL teams, the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers and SoFi Stadium announced Tuesday that their home games ‘will be held without fans in attendance until further notice’ due to the pandemic. This means the Rams’ Sept. 13 home opener against the Cowboys will be played without fans in attendance.” — Dallas Morning News Sports Day Staff"
Los Angeles won’t be the only team playing without fans as it seems to be the norm at this point. It’s also the safest option at this point and teams should be commended for putting safety first.
As for the field of play, the Cowboys are looking strong as they prepare for this game. The reports out of Frisco have been promising as Dak Prescott has looked sharp whereas rookies CeeDee Lamb and Trevon Diggs are stealing the show.
Having said that, there are still some questions that need to be answered by the Cowboys as they prepare for their Week 1 game. Here we look at the three most pressing concerns that need to be answered.
