Another position where the cowboys are absolutely loaded is at wide receiver. Amari Cooper is the No. 1 wideout and is coming off his best season is a pro. Opposite him is Michael Gallup, who had 1,000 yards in his second season in the league. The team has been adamant that Gallup is also a No. 1 receiver in this league and they’re just blessed to have two players capable of manning that role.

They could even have a third as CeeDee Lamb fell to them at No. 17 overall. The Oklahoma wideout was arguably the best in the class and Dallas had to jump at the chance to add him even though wideout wasn’t a huge need. As expected, Lamb has been solid in camp but he’s not alone. Cedrick Wilson was also been turning heads, with Jori Epstein even referring to his camp as a “standout.”

Wilson is currently fighting for the fourth spot on the roster and while Noah Brown is re-emerging as a player for them, it’s hard to envision the former Boise State product being beaten out. Wilson has been running crisp routes and displaying soft hands, but most importantly, his rapport with Dak Prescott has been much improved.

A sixth-round pick in 2018, Wilson has struggled to stay healthy and so far has just five receptions in the NFL. This is a huge campaign for him as he looks to finally break into the league and he couldn’t be off to a better start.
