One surprising cut each NFL team could make for 2020

New York Jets: Chris Hogan, Wide Receiver
There was a point where Chris Hogan was supposed to become a star in the NFL. He was signed by the New England Patriots after four seasons with the Buffalo Bills and started out looking great. He had 680 yards and four touchdowns while averaging nearly 18 yards per catch.
Hogan has been unable to match that success and then in Carolina last season had just 67 yards on eight catches. He joined the New York Jets but could be in trouble with the team adding Donte Moncrief recently to a corps that already has Breshad Perriman, Jamison Crowder and Denzel Mims.
Philadelphia Eagles: Sidney Jones, Cornerback
The Philadelphia Eagles secondary has been a nightmare for several years now and they’re hoping to have gotten things fixed with an active offseason. Philly added Darius Slay in a trade and then signed Nickell Robey-Coleman who is one of the better slot corners in the NFL. Adding those two players pushes Sidney Joens further down the depth chart and could lead to his release.
Jones was originally taken in the second round out of Washington and had to overcome a torn Achilles suffered while preparing for the draft. He played in only one game as a rookie and since then managed just nine games in 2018 and 12 last year. While he did improve in 2019, he wasn’t living up to expectation and could be fighting for a job now.
