Pittsburgh Steelers: Benny Snell Jr., Running Back

After moving on from Le’Veon Bell, the Pittsburgh Steelers have used James Conner as their feature back and that should again be the case in 2020. Along with him, they have Jaylen Samuels who is capable of playing halfback or fullback and Benny Snell. They then added Anthony McFarland, Jr. in the draft and his arrival could spell the end for Snell.

As a rookie, Snell ran for 426 yards and two touchdowns last season but averaged less than four yards per carry. The one saving grace for him could be the durability concerns of Conner but there are still several players who could all end up in front of him.

San Francisco 49ers: Ahkello Witherspoon, Cornerback

Ahkello Witherspoon was a starter for the San Francisco 49ers for the majority of his first two seasons in the NFL. He continued to start in his third season but that didn’t last the whole year. By the time they were in the playoffs, he was no longer on the field with the first team as he was replaced by Emmanuel Moseley.

His demotion led to the belief they could sign a free agent or draft a corner but they didn’t do that. Still, there’s a chance Witherspoon could be released in a cap-saving move.
