One surprising cut each NFL team could make for 2020

Cincinnati Bengals: Shawn Williams, Safety
The Cincinnati Bengals are currently in the middle of a rebuild and they spent this past offseason dedicating a lot of resources to the defensive side of the ball. They signed D.J. Reader to play defensive tackle and picked up a couple of cornerbacks from the Minnesota Vikings as they added both Trae Waynes and Mackensie Alexander.
They also made a splash at safety, signing Vonn Bell recently of the New Orleans Saints. Bell should be starting next to Jessie Bates which leaves Shawn Williams as the odd man out. Williams led the team in tackles last season but did so while playing in more of a linebacker role. He likely won’t be doing this again in 2020 and he probably loses out to Bell.
Cleveland Browns: Terrance Mitchell, Cornerback
Injuries have ravaged the Cleveland Browns defensive backfield. They lost safety Grant Delpit for the year to a torn Achilles. They’re also expected to be without Greedy Williams for a stretch with a shoulder injury and Kevin Johnson due to a lacerated liver.
All their injuries opened the door for some of their younger players, such as Donovan Olumba who has been performing well. He also makes significantly less than Terrance Mitchell does, which could lead to the veteran being the odd man out when the Browns trim their roster. Sure, they need the depth but Olumba has proven he can be up to the task.
