Green Bay Packers: RB Aaron Jones

The focus and story of the offseason for the Green Bay Packers was their decision to draft a quarterback of the future in the first round over a weapon that can help them in the present. Aaron Rodgers reportedly turned to tequila to drown his sorrows but what he should have been doing was toasting his backfield mate Aaron Jones.

Jones has gone from little-known fifth-round pick to one of the more versatile backs in the NFL as he finished the 2019 season with his first 1,000 yard rushing season and an incredible 16 rushing touchdowns. He carried the load for the Packers offense as the leading rusher, third-leading receiver, and scorer of nearly half of their total touchdowns.

Rodgers is still the man in Green Bay but as he gets older he will need to lean more than ever on the run game and having Jones lined up behind him is a blessing. The Packers had a great 2019 season and will hope for more success and that starts with more of the same from the former UTEP standout.
