Minnesota Vikings: RB Dalvin Cook

Since recovering from an ACL injury that cut short his rookie season, Dalvin Cook has become one of the most dynamic running backs in the NFL and a player that the Minnesota Vikings heavily depended on. They probably should be leaning on their big-money QB but Cook is the main man for the Vikings offense.

In the two games he missed in 2019 the Vikings were 0-2 and were 6-1 in games where he had at least 97 yards rushing. He quite literally makes the Vikings offense go and is on hunt for a new contract that reflects that reality.

Teams may be leery of paying big money to a running back, but he has more than proven his worth to the Vikings with his play in 2019. We can expect more of the same from Cook and perhaps even more production after the team traded away wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Buffalo Bills.

Cook is in line for a big payday if he continues to produce and will be motivated by that and more in 2020.
