Cincinnati Bengals: RB Joe Mixon

No. 1 overall pick Joe Burrow is the headliner on this team but the other Joe in the backfield will be the MVP of the offense and the team. The fourth-year running back out of Oklahoma is coming off his second straight 1,100 yard season and has show that he can be a receiving threat as well.

Cincinnati’s quarterback situation last season makes Mixon’s numbers all the more impressive as he faced more defensive attention than he ever had in the past and his stats reflect that. More than half of his rushing yards came after contact and he broke 24 tackles over 16 games.

The Bengals have high hopes for Joe Burrow as a rookie but they will almost certainly lean on the run game to help him get his feet wet. Mixon is in for the biggest season of his career and if this offense is going to be as explosive as some experts think, he will be right at the heart of it.
