Bold predictions for the Dallas Cowboys in their Week 1 matchup against the Rams.

For the third time in as many seasons, the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams will face off against one another. At the end of the 2018 season, they met in the Divisional Round of the NFC playoffs and the Rams scored their first postseason win in 14 years. Los Angeles was able to dominate Dallas on the ground with Todd Gurley running for 115 yards and a score while C.J. Anderson added another 123 yards and two touchdowns.

Dallas did an actor measure of revenge last year when the 2 met in December of the 2019 season. This time Dallas walked away with a 44 to 21 when that included 131 yards and a touchdown on the ground from Tony Pollard and 117 from Ezekiel Elliott who added two scores. Quarterback Dak Prescott had 212 yards passing with two touchdowns as the Cowboys completely flipped the script in that one.

Despite that win, Dallas was still unable to make the playoffs they finished the 2019 season with a mark of 8-8. Los Angeles was also dissatisfied with their finish as they went 9-7, but they also missed the playoffs. Each team looks to rebound as they kick off the 2020 campaign at the Rams new SoFi Stadium in Week 1.

It’s been an unpredictable offseason as the pandemic facing our world ked to a virtual draft, a cancellation of preseason games and offseason training, and will now force the Rams to open their stadium with no fans. Now, we try and look ahead to the regular season hoping we can start to better predict what will happen. And with that being said, we look at the Cowboys and make five bold predictions for their game against the Rams.
