Philadelphia Eagles. 12. team. 54. . . Previous: 10th

There’s no way that the Philadelphia Eagles could have worse injury luck than they did in the 2019 campaign, right? After all, the team was starting a converted college quarterback at wide receiver down the stretch last season, in addition to a number of other ailments. Yet the team still won the NFC East, which raised hopes for what a healthy version of this group could accomplish in the 2020 season.

Well, we might not get to see that version of the Eagles after all. Injuries have already ravaged this roster throughout the offseason and into training camp. Star guard Brandon Brooks and projected starting left tackle Andre Dillard are both out for the season. First-round pick Jalen Reagor is doubtful for Week 1. And Carson Wentz, Javon Hargrave, Derek Barnett and numerous others have been dealing with injuries as well.

At their best, Philadelphia has the potential to not only repeat as division champs but to make a run at another Super Bowl. The Eagles aren’t at their best right now, though. The trenches are already being negatively affected and Week 1 hasn’t even arrived yet. It’s hard to put them into the top 10 when they have so many things already working against them.
