48. . . Previous: 7th. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 6. team

Just when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have made one perfect addition to their team, they have seemingly made another soon after throughout the entire offseason. The first, of course, was signing six-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady to replace Jameis Winston. Pairing Brady with Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and O.J. Howard in itself was enough to make fans salivate.

But the moves have kept coming. Tampa traded for Rob Gronkowski, bringing Brady’s favorite target out of retirement to reunite the pairing. The Bucs then addressed their hole at right tackle with a stud rookie, Tristan Wirfs. And most recently, they took advantage of value when Leonard Fournette hit the open mark, landing the running back and adding him to a committee backfield.

Anyone questioning Brady in Bruce Arians’ offense is kidding themselves. Is he the big-armed gunslinger that Winston was? Of course not — but that’s a big part of the reason the Bucs wanted to move on. They need stability and playmaking working in unison, which is what Brady provides.

Adding that to an elite group of offensive weapons and a truly underrated defense, this is a legitimate Super Bowl contender in Tampa. The only thing that may hold them back is the shortened offseason as they need to integrate new pieces. In terms of top-end potential, though, the Bucs are among the best in the league, without question.
