3. Los Angeles Rams (+3) vs. Dallas Cowboys

Over the past two seasons, the Los Angeles Rams and Dallas Cowboys have become very familiar with one another. In the 2018 Divisional Round of the playoffs, L.A. sent Dallas home with a 30-22 victory. In that game, both C.J. Anderson and Todd Gurley ran all over the Cowboys.

Dallas did, however, enact some revenge in 2019 when the two teams met in Week 15. This time, the Cowboys found a way to win as Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott were the ones to run all over the field as they were the main reasons for the 44-21 lopsided victory.

Now in Week 1 of the 2020 season, the Rams are hosting the Cowboys for what will be the first game in SoFi Stadium history. Unfortunately, the seats won’t be filled which makes it one of the more intriguing stadium openings of all-time and could hurt the Rams chances of having a home-field advantage.

With all that being said, the Cowboys enter this one as slight road favorites, likely due to their splashy offseason addition. Dallas added CeeDee Lamb, Trevon Diggs, Everson Griffen, and Dontari Poe whereas the Rams lost Brandin Cooks and Todd Gurley.

Still, the Cowboys are working with a new head coach, defensive coordinator, and special teams coordinator. All the moves were positive but without much of the offseason work teams usually get, teams that are changing staffs are at a disadvantage in 2020. That could be the opening Sean McVay and his team need as they look to upset the Cowboys in Week 1.
