Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl chances: 2%

Mike McCarthy enters his first year as head coach of the Cowboys with a stacked offense. Dak Prescott put together by far the best performance of his career last season, and the wide receiver corps of Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and CeeDee Lamb is arguably the best in the NFL. Ezekiel Elliott is also motivated to put on an outstanding performance after some analysts claimed he lost a step last season.

Dallas’ greatest weakness is its defense. The defensive line and linebacking corps aren’t terrible, but the secondary could be one of the league’s worst in 2020.

New York Giants Super Bowl chances: No Chance

New York should make strides during Joe Judge’s first year as head coach, but the team lacks proven playmakers on defense. There’s a foundation for a defensive front, but the whole unit screams of underachievement and is more of a mix-and-match of talent than a well-oiled machine.

Quarterback Daniel Jones isn’t a known factor yet either. He had a middle of the pack rookie season highlighted by serious fumbling issues. Saquon Barkley also struggled thanks to poor offensive line play and injuries. New York could sneak out six wins this season, but they’re not legitimate contenders.

Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl chances: 4%

As long as the Eagles have their current leadership structure, they’ll always be competitive and better than the Cowboys. Philadelphia’s coaching staff and front office are trustworthy and have an established culture. Meanwhile, the NFC East’s other three teams got new coaching staffs this summer.

The team’s health ultimately decides Philadelphia’s chances at a Super Bowl title. Carson Wentz has an injury history, although it’s often overblown, and the Eagles already lost Brandon Brooks and Andre Dillard to season-ending injuries. It could be a rocky path for the Eagles, but when does anything come easy for Philly sports teams?

Washington Football Team Super Bowl chances: No Chance

The quarterback situation in Washington poses more questions than answers. While head coach Ron Rivera recently named Dwayne Haskins as the Week 1 starter, I don’t envision the second-year quarterback starting all 16 games.

Cutting Adrian Peterson adds another layer of confusion to Washington’s plans on offense. These are the first steps in a long rebuilding process, but it could take years for Washington to become competitive again.
