DraftKings NFL bargains, Week 1: Running Backs

Josh Jacobs (LV at CAR, $6,800) might be a chalk play, but he’ll impose his will against the Carolina Panthers defense. The danger on passing is that doing so may create a cash-out chasm that’s hard to overcome, given the probability of a huge day.

Raheem Mostert (SF vs. ARI, $5,800) is a nice story and an even better value against a team that should afford him plenty of opportunities to rack up fantasy points at a very reasonable price. Mostert continues to get zero respect in fantasy circles, but a huge Week 1 on the heels of an impressive 2019 should change that.

Mark Ingram (BAL vs. CLE, $5,500) should post his best week of the 2020 season in Week 1 while rookie JK Dobbins learns the ropes. Expect the production-to-cost ratio to be sky-high.

Tarik Cohen (CHI at DET, $4,900) is an inexpensive, high-floor insurance policy who should play a larger role in the Chicago Bears’ offense, starting this week. Fewer running backs who offer as high of a floor at this price on DraftKings this week.

One of them is trendy rookie Antonio Gibson (WAS vs. PHI, $4,000), who has the makings of becoming a true PPR monster.  Given his skillset and the PPR scoring format on DraftKings, he’s an absolute steal at this week’s going rate.
