DraftKings NFL bargains, Week 1: Tight Ends

George Kittle (SF vs. ARI, $7,200) is the highest-priced option at the position on DraftKings this week, yet he’s still positioned to outperform his price. If there’s ever a time to pay up in DFS for a premier tight end, it’s during a week in which he plays an Arizona Cardinals defense that was historically horrific against tight ends last season.

Mark Andrews (BAL vs. CLE, $6,000) offers similar upside at a $1,200 discount. Some expect regression from the third-year tight end in 2020, while others hint at overall TE1 upside:

His teammate Hayden Hurst (ATL vs. SEA), $4,300) was regarded by most as the better prospect coming out of college. The third-year, modestly-priced Carolina Gamecock standout gets his first chance to shine in the footsteps of the heavily-targeted but recently departed Austin Hooper.

Similarly, Jack Doyle (IND @ JAX $3,600) won’t compete with Eric Ebron for targets in 2020 and enjoys a quarterback upgrade in the form of Phillip Rivers. His Week 1 DFS prospects are promising against a Jaguars defense that’s licking its wounds after yet another a brutal offseason, personnel-wise.

The opportunity to tap into the tantalizing talent of (Chris Herndon NYJ @ BUF $3,300) at such a low price makes him a value proposition in spite of an unfavorable matchup.

DraftKings NFL bargains, Week 1: Defense/Special Teams

The Philadelphia Eagles (at WAS $3,600) overhauled secondary and rock-solid interior defensive line should give the Football Team fits this weekend.

The New England Patriots (vs. MIA, $3,200), hands-down the best fantasy defense in 2019, squares off against the mercurial Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Expect the Los Angeles Chargers (at CIN, $2,800) defense to bring the pain to rookie quarterback Joe Burrow this week.
