Green Bay Packers bold prediction No. 3: Aaron Rodgers throws 35 touchdowns

The Packers were extremely successful in 2019 despite the lack of individual success from their star quarterback. Aaron Rodgers threw for just 26 touchdowns last season, a low number for his standards. Despite that, Green Bay managed a 13-3 record while reaching the NFC Championship game.

Entering Year 2 in coach Matt LaFleur’s offensive scheme, Rodgers appears to be much more comfortable within Green Bay’s offense. All offseason he talked about sharing ideas with LaFleur, and how he felt the two were beginning to mesh from a play-calling standpoint.

Rodgers also stated multiple times that he’s done some self-scouting over the last few weeks, going back to when he was playing at an MVP level, and tweaking some minor things with his mechanics. It’s been noticeable over the last few years that Rodgers hasn’t been the same quarterback we became accustomed to.

If Rodgers truly does implement some positive changes into his footwork and mechanics, then we could be looking at one of the best offenses in the NFL. I’m calling for Rodgers to throw for 35 touchdowns, a high mark based on what he’s produced over the last few years.
