1. Patriots kick off the 2020 season on the right foot

The final prediction for the Patriots that will occur by the end of the season-opening matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday afternoon in Foxborough is New England will ultimately be able to overcome some hurdles early on and will come away with yet another Week 1 victory.

The first thing that is a positive right away for the Patriots is the fact that they are playing the Dolphins to open up the year. Miami is undoubtedly still trying to figure things out and rebuild into becoming a team that could potentially make some noise in the AFC for years to come. That won’t be this year, however, which will play into New England’s favor.

The second positive for the Patriots going into this game is that the contest will be played on their home field at Gillette Stadium, a venue where they are a hard team to face no matter what season it is or what point in the year it is.

By the end of the Week 1 matchup against an AFC East opponent, New England will be able to come out on top and will start to feel a bit better about the team taking the field following the conclusion of the game. The Patriots will also get a nice early jump on the rest of the division to try and grab yet another divisional title by the end of the regular season.

New England will have to figure things out quickly in the season opener on Sunday against Miami, since they have a few tough matchups in the first four weeks of the regular season schedule, including games against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2 and Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4, both road games. The good news for the Patriots is they will have some extra time between Weeks 1 and 2 to get ready for the Seahawks given the game is a Sunday night matchup on NBC.
