1. Falcons will fall in close game

The final prediction is that the Seahawks will be able to squeeze out a close win on the road, handing the Falcons a loss at home.

Going into the matchup, Seattle is a small favorite to go into Atlanta and win the Sunday afternoon contest, and that could certainly be the result in the game by the end of the four quarters.

The first reason for that result is the fact that the Seahawks are just a really good road team and they tend to step up to the occasion in important games when it’s needed most.

The season reason why Atlanta will fall in this game is that it will still be working to get its new faces, mainly at running back and tight end, in the offense and will appear a bit rusty while taking the field together for the first time in a game this year.

The Falcons could still be a team that could make a serious run by the end of the year and could ultimately end the postseason drought here in 2020, but it will take some time for the team to get up to top-notch playing level that they will be at later on in the regular season.

With a mix of all of those factors, Atlanta will ultimately lose in a close game to begin the new year against Seattle and will try and regroup and bounce back in Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys on the road.
