The Los Angeles Rams host the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1 and here’s how to watch.

This was supposed to be a massive unveiling for the Los Angeles Rams as Week 1 of the 2020 season is the date for them to unveil their brand new $5 billion stadium. SoFi Stadium will be the home for both the Rams and Los Angeles Chargers and in Week 1, the Rams are hosting the biggest ticket in the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys.

While it will still be a huge event, the massive stadium that can seat roughly 70,000 people will have no one in there at all. Due to COVID-19 concerns, the Rams will be unable to host fans for the event, which will make this one of the more unique “openings” for any sports stadium.

That doesn’t mean the game itself won’t be exciting as the league has put a good one on tap here. Both the Rams and Cowboys are coming off disappointing seasons with L.A. finishing 9-7 and Dallas going 8-8 in 2019. Neither of them was able to make the playoffs, which came just one season after they faced off in the 2018 NFC Divisional Round.

Los Angeles got the better of the Cowboys in that game but in 2019, Dallas got a measure of revenge as they took it to a Rams squad that was struggling down the stretch.

They both look to get off to a quick start to the 2020 campaign, and a win in Week 1 under the bright lights over an NFC contender would provide exactly that.
