Russell Wilson had a great opening game. Seattle Seahawks starting quarterback completed 31 of his 35 passing attempts for 322 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions. If that wasn’t enough, he led the team in rushing with 29 yards on three carries. He did most damage on one rash as he had a long of 28 yards.

Overall, Seattle had a running back by committee approach as Carlos Hyde went for 23 yards and Chris Carson had 21 to go along with Wilson’s 29. But Carson was also active in the passing game, catching six passes for 45 yards and two of Wilson’s four touchdowns. D.K. Metcalf led the way in the receiving game with 95 yards and a touchdown and new addition Greg Olsen had the other touchdown fishing for catches for 24 yards.

As for their defense, they gave up a lot of yards to the Atlanta Falcons but they had their share of big moments as well. There was a fumble recovery and an interception from Quandre Diggs. Jamal Adams was also all over the field, finishing with 12 tackles.

There are suddenly a lot of good teams in the NFC West but the Seahawks aren’t ready to be counted out just yet.
