The highest-scoring game of the weekend came courtesy of the NFC North as the Minnesota Vikings hosted the Green Bay Packers in a shootout. Aaron Rodgers, who had his share of struggles a season ago, was absolutely on fire. The veteran gun-slinger was 32-of-44 for 364 yards with four touchdowns and no picks.

As impressive as he was tossing the rock, the ground game was also working for the Pack. Aaron Jones picked up 66 yards on 16 rushes and added another touchdown and they also had 38 yards from Tyler Ervin.

While they were well-rounded, the passing game was still king. Davante Adams led the way with 156 yards and two touchdowns with 14 receptions. There were also 96 yards and a touchdown on four catches from Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

It was a solid win but the defense has to be somewhat concerned as they gave up 24 points in the final quarter. Of course, this could have been due to them taking the foot off the gas when they had it all but put away but still, it would have been better to see them keep the Vikings from putting up those points down the stretch. Or at least it would have been good for them. For us watching, it ended up being a lot of fun.
