Minnesota Vikings: 3 Bold predictions for Week 2 vs. Colts
1. Minnesota will get first win of the season
During the 2019 season, Minnesota was a relatively average road team, compiling a record of 4-4 in the eight games away from Minneapolis during the regular season schedule. But in the world of 2020 with a lack of fans and therefore a home-field advantage for many teams, that might not be as big of a factor at least early on in the season.
The first thing that might play into the Vikings’ favor is playing indoors in Indianapolis, which is obviously how they play their games indoors at US Bank Stadium in Minnesota. That neutral climate, although some may not think that plays a huge factor especially with the weather still relatively warm, could help Minnesota and certainly won’t hurt.
The other reason for this prediction of a win for Minnesota is that it’s hard to imagine that it won’t bounce back at least in some way following the rough and disappointing performance that took place against a division rival last weekend. Oftentimes in the Mike Zimmer area, his teams are almost over-prepared the next week coming off of a bad loss like what took place in Week 1.
In the Sunday afternoon showdown in Indianapolis, Minnesota should be able to come out with its first win of the year in its first road game of the season.
