Best DraftKings NFL values at every position in Week 2 for the DFS fantasy football main slate.

Every year, without fail, NFL Week 2 offers tremendous buying opportunities as the fantasy football community reacts, sometimes overly so, to the events of Week 1.

With this in mind, we run a quick two-minute drill to highlight some of our favorite values and bargains on the main slate of DraftKings this week.

DraftKings NFL Values for Week 2: Quarterbacks

From a strategy standpoint, it often makes sense to break ground on lineup construction with the best value at the quarterback position from a matchup or game script perspective (or ideally, both). Those in GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool) tournaments try to “stack” this quarterback with skill position players they believe are most likely to be on the receiving end of this production.

Lamar Jackson (BAL at HOU, $8,200) is the highest-priced quarterback on the slate, and yet is somehow still a value in what looks to be a shootout against a Houston Texans defense that just surrendered 34 points last week. In GPP formats, pair him with wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown (BAL at HOU, $6,200), fresh off a 100 yard game, or better yet, tight end Mark Andrews (BAL at HOU $6,300), who’s already rewarding season-long fantasy football owners who spent high-end draft capital to secure a Top Three tight end in the first five rounds.

Dak Prescott (DAL vs. ATL, $6,800) offers similar upside at a discount, facing an Atlanta Falcons pass defense that just coughed up four touchdowns and over 300 yards to Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks.  GPP enthusiasts should pair Prescott with either or both of two excellent wide receiver values: Michael Gallup (DAL vs. ATL, $5,600) and CeeDee Lamb (DAL vs. ATL, $4,700).

Kyler Murray (ARI vs. WAS, $6,100) looks to finish what Carson Wentz started in the first half of Week 1: a complete and total decimation of the Washington Football Team defense. Unlike Wentz, Murray has another dimension to his game that the two quarterbacks above possess: the ability to rack up yards on the ground with his feet.

Many in GPP formats will understandably start DeAndre Hopkins (ARI vs WAS, $7,700) with Murray; we endorse this move, but prefer Christian Kirk (ARI vs. WAS, $4,300), a terrific value who should find plenty of opportunities to gash a Football Team defense that was beaten deep more than once in Week 1. Capitalize on the discounted rate caused by his Week 1 disappearance

Teddy Bridgewater (CAR at TB, $5,800) is priced low enough against a promising, yet unproven secondary to allow those in GPP lineups to start the Bugatti of running backs: Christian McCaffrey (CAR at TB, $10,000). While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a tougher defensive foe than the Las Vegas Raiders, both teams allowed 34 points last week, so points will be there for the taking.
