1. Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers

One of the most oddly competitive matchups last year was the Green Bay Packers vs. the Detroit Lions. The most curious part of last season’s meetings was that the Packers didn’t lead in either game except for when the final score was on the board.

To open the 2020 season, Green Bay dominated the Minnesota Vikings as quarterback Aaron Rodgers had one of the best games of his career. In the 43-34 victory, Rodgers threw for 364 yards and four touchdowns — and he may have had an even better day if receivers not named Davante Adams hadn’t been dropping passes.

Detroit did not enjoy the same positive start to their 2020 campaign. The Lions were winning against the Chicago Bears for much of the game but then allowed three unanswered touchdowns. Matthew Stafford then threw a beautiful potential game-winning pass but rookie running back D’Andre Swift dropped it to give the Lions the loss.

Even still, this should be a great game on Sunday. Not only did these two NFC North rivals deliver when they met a year ago but we want to see these two quarterbacks duel with one another. This could be high-scoring and the result should be one of the best games of NFL Week 2.
