The Dallas Cowboys face the Atlanta Falcons in NFL Week 2 at AT&T Stadium.

Neither the Atlanta Falcons nor the Dallas Cowboys were thrilled with how their 2020 seasons kicked off. For the Dirty Birds, they were beaten at home by the Seattle Seahawks. As for the Cowboys, they lost on the road to the Los Angeles Rams.

Now in Week 2, the two NFC playoff hopefuls are going to try and avoid the dreaded 0-2 start to the season. And considering these two clubs are expected to be in contention for a postseason berth come the end of the season, this early matchup could loom large when it comes to tiebreakers.

For Dallas, they have a slight edge considering they are the home team. They will be permitted to have some fans in this crazy post-COVID environment we are navigating but that could be enough to give them a slight boost as they look to put their three-point Week 1 loss in the rearview.

Atlanta, on the other hand, has to hit the road and figure out a way to stop another powerful passing attack. They surrendered more than 300 yards to Russell Wilson and the Seahawks and it won’t get any easier with the Cowboys three-headed monster at wide receiver.

It should be a great game for the fans as there are sure to be some fireworks.
