NFL Power Rankings, Week 3: Packers, Ravens set dominant tone

Ahead of this season, the Minnesota Vikings gave quarterback Kirk Cousins a new contract as he and the team agreed to a two-year extension worth roughly $66 million. It seemed to be a smart investment following his performance the prior season, but so far in 2020, it hasn’t looked to be a great move by Minnesota.
He put up some garbage-time numbers in a Week 1 loss but in Week 2, things fell apart for the Vikings offense. Cousins was a big reason for that completing just 11 of 26 passes for only 113 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions.
With his play, it was a wonder the offense found the end zone at all, but they did late in the game. Of course, by then it was a lost cause as the Dalvin Cook touchdown and two=point conversion made it 28-11 as they were never in the game against the Colts.
Now at 0-2, the Vikings find themselves in a tough spot in the NFC North. Both the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears have started out 2-0 and with Minnesota losing to the Packers in the opening game of the season, they are already digging themselves quite the hole.
