16. . . Previous: 6th. Buffalo Bills. 6. team

This might have been the best game of Josh Allen’s young career. The third-year quarterback has been competitive throughout his time as the Buffalo Bills starting quarterback and has led them to some impressive wins already. But on Sunday, he did it with more accuracy than he has shown so far.

Allen finished 24-of-35 with 417 yards passing and four touchdowns. He also had no turnovers as well, showing great care with the ball — a week after making some head-scratching turnovers against the Jets. He’s also shown a great connection with Stefon Diggs, finishing this game by hitting his new No. 1 receiver eight times for 153 yards and a touchdown.

Even with all that explosion from the offense, this game ended up being a lot closer than the Bills expected. They’re clearly the superior team to the Miami Dolphins but they let the home team hang in this one and they even took a lead in the fourth quarter.

Once Miami had gone up 20-17, Buffalo put it away with a touchdown pass to Gabriel Davis followed by a 46-yarder to John Brown. Miami scored late and converted on a two-point conversion but a recovered onside kick allowed them to run out the clock and start this season with a record of 2-0.
