NFL Power Rankings, Week 3: Packers, Ravens set dominant tone

Drew Lock has all the tools to be a successful quarterback in the NFL. He’s got the confidence, the arm strength, the accuracy, and the ability to make plays on the fly. His one issue so far has been durability. Lock started out his rookie season on the IR and ended up playing in just five games. However, he was great in those games, leading the Broncos to a 4-1 mark.
Unfortunately, he’s started out this season with back-to-back losses and once again finds himself battling an injury. Lock was only able to attempt five passes in their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers before suffering a shoulder injury that knocked him out of the game.
Jeff Driskel played in his absence and he finished with 256 yards and two touchdowns on 18-of-34 passing. He did lead them to 21 points but it wasn’t enough to get the win as the Steelers held on 26-21.
Denver did have some good performances to build on as Melvin Gordan finished with 84 total yards from scrimmage with a receiving touchdown and Noah Fant scored while hauling in four catches for 57 yards. There was also a good performance from both Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton, who each topped 60 yards receiving. Even so, they finished with a loss, making them 0-2 and need to start finding a way to get some wins or else they could be out of the race quickly.
