2. Lockett and Metcalf both go for 100 yards

Dallas’ offense features almost half a dozen Pro Bowlers, but the defense is extremely vulnerable. Rookie cornerback Trevon Diggs leads a battered secondary featuring players who would serve as backups on many other teams. Diggs and fellow corner, Chidobe Awuzie, will struggle against Wilson and his borderline elite receivers.

D.K. Metcalf is Seattle’s biggest offensive threat, outside of Wilson. The second-year receiver torched reigning Defensive Player of the Year Stephon Gilmore for 92 yards and a touchdown last week. If the 6-4, 229 lb. receiver can capitalize on his physical traits against the best cornerback in the game, he should dominate Dallas’ depleted secondary.

Tyler Lockett also poses a threat. The 27-year-old is extremely quick, and he’s developed into a tremendous overall pass-catcher. Initially, Lockett operated primarily as a deep threat. Now, he’s an every-down receiver capable of running a complete route tree. Lockett set a single-season career-high with 1,057 receiving yards last season.

1. Wilson continues his impeccable run

Through two weeks, Wilson has nine passing touchdowns and 11 incomplete passes. He’s playing at an MVP level, and it shows up in the numbers. Wilson leads the NFL in completion percentage (82.5), passing touchdowns (nine), and passer rating (140.0). If not for a bad play by Olsen, the 31-year-old quarterback would’ve escaped Week 2 without throwing an interception.

I already discussed how deflated Dallas’ secondary is. The unit gave up 273 yards and four touchdowns to Matt Ryan last week, and Julio Jones only finished the game with 24 yards. Wilson outplayed Ryan in Week 1, which only lends further credibility to his stock this week. Only Dallas’ pass rush can slow Wilson’s MVP campaign down in Week 3.
