Five bold predictions for the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3 against the Seahawks.

In terms of entertainment value, the Dallas Cowboys might never be able to top what they did in Week 2. In what looked to be a lost game, they had four fumbles on their own side of the field, three that ended up in the hands of the Atlanta Falcons, all in the first quarter. That led to a 20-0 deficit before the first 15 minutes of play was completed.

With everyone giving up on them after this, they continued to fight back. Dak Prescott and the offense kept on fighting as he was moving the ball up and down the field with ease. Head coach Mike McCarthy and Kellen Moore also deserve a lot of credit because they didn’t panic but stuck to the gameplan which included getting Ezekiel Elliott involved in the run game.

As for the defense, they did just enough to keep it close. They weren’t exactly in shut-down mode but giving up 19 points in the final three quarters was respectable after offensive turnovers spotted Atlanta 20.

Then, of course, there was the lucky bounce — or roll — that went their way. Greg Zuerlein had a winding onside kick that was recovered by C.J. Goodwin. That allowed Dallas one final chance to go for the win and Zuerlein knocked a field goal in following a big reception by CeeDee Lamb.

Now, they look to carry that momentum in Week 3 against the Seattle Seahawks who are sitting at 2-0 following a win of their own that went down to the last tick of the clock. For the Seahawks, they had a five-point lead but needed a goal-line stop on Cam Newton to secure their win over the New England Patriots.

Now, the two NFC clubs get together in Week 3 and we have five bold predictions for the Dallas Cowboys as they look to get above .500 on the season.
