Bold predictions for the Minnesota Vikings in Week 3 against the Titans.

It’s just the third week of the 2020 NFL season, but the Minnesota Vikings are already in season-saving mode early on in the regular season. After a rough two weeks to begin the year, including another defeat last Sunday in Week 2 on the road, the winless Vikings are still on the search for their first win of the season while holding a record of 0-2.

Minnesota will return home to try and get into the win column while facing off against a tough AFC opposition that is looking to avoid losing for the first time in 2020. The Vikings will host the Tennessee Titans (2-0) on Sunday afternoon at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

Minnesota comes into the game having dropped its first road game of the regular season last weekend against the Indianapolis Colts, falling 28-11 in that game.

In the loss, the Vikings didn’t have much going on either side of the ball for the second straight contest to open the new year and the Colts took advantage of that on their home field to come away with the 17-point win.

Minnesota held a 3-0 lead after one quarter, but Indianapolis bounced back with 18 unanswered points over the second and third quarters to take a commanding lead and hold off the Vikings for a remainder of the contest.

On the other side of the field in Week 3, Tennessee is coming off of a 33-30 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2 last Sunday afternoon in Tennessee.

In that game, the Titans jumped out to a 24-10 lead in the first half and held off the Jaguars over the final two frames to pull out their second victory of the year and the first on their home field.

Before Minnesota and Tennessee take the field while the Vikings search for their first win of the 2020 campaign, let’s come up with three predictions that will occur for the purple and gold on Sunday afternoon in Minneapolis.
