2. Minnesota’s run defense will have its hands full

One thing is for certain when it comes to the Tennessee Titans, and that is that they like to run the football. On Sunday in Minneapolis, the Vikings will be put to the test on defense for a third straight week, especially on the ground and with the Titans run-heavy offense.

Coming into the game this weekend, Tennessee has run a total of 68 times, which is tied with the Arizona Cardinals for the third-most in the NFL through two weeks. On those 68 attempts, the Titans have tallied a total of 253 rushing yards, which ranks 13th in the league.

On the other end of the field, the Vikings run defense hasn’t really been that impressive in games against the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts.

Through two contests, Minnesota has given up 72 rush attempts, which is the fourth-most for a defense in the NFL. The Vikings have also allowed opposing teams to rush for 309 yards, which ranks fifth-worst in the league.

There are many questions surrounding Minnesota so far this season while it continues to search for its first win of the year. But one thing that continues to be a concern is the Vikings run defense, which will be put to the test against the Titans.
