2. Green Bay Packers vs. New Orleans Saints

Anytime two NFC powerhouses like the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints meet, it’d going to bring plenty of eyes. Having said that, the first two weeks of the season have added more levels of interest to the Sunday Night Football showdown in Week 3.

That starts with the Green Bay Packers, a team that has been playing phenomenally to start the year. Beginning their season against two NFC North opponents, Aaron Rodgers has been an MVP-caliber stud, Aaron Jones has continued to build off a great year and the offense is humming. The defense has hit some hurdles to clear but 2-0 is an undeniable start.

The same positivity hasn’t followed the Saints. While New Orleans handled business against Tampa, they fell to the Raiders on Monday Night Football last week. The most shocking part was Drew Brees, who looked like a shell of himself. Whether it’s the injury to Michael Thomas or age, things have looked off for the veteran quarterback.

It’s clear that Rodgers and Brees are on two different trajectories coming into their Week 3 matchup on Sunday night. That leaves questions about the dominance of the Packers in addition to the viability of the Saints.
