The Green Bay Packers remained unbeaten with a big win over the Saints.

It’s been one heck of a start for a team that despite a 13-3 record and a division title in 2019 didn’t look the part of a contender in last year’s NFC title game. But after two games this season, the Green Bay Packers had few problems putting points on the board and looked like a much-improved team – at least on offense.

Matt LaFleur’s club totaled 43 and 42 points, respectively, in victories over the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions.

Of course, a trip to New Orleans is a much different story, especially when you have to deal with a Saints’ team still smarting from their Monday night loss at Las Vegas. Of course, the last time the Packers made an appearance at the Superdome was back in 2014. In any, LaFleur’s club was looking to open the season with three consecutive victories for the second straight year.

As for the second year of the Aaron Rodgers working with LaFleur (via ESPN’s Rob Demovsky), it’s obviously has gotten off to a great start. But on Sunday night, there was the possibility that the Green Bay offense might be short-handed. When it was all said and done, it didn’t really matter as Rodgers continued his strong start and the Packers came away with a 37-30 victory.

So who were the standouts and who failed to pull their weight in this showdown between 2019 divisional champions? The Packers had very few poor performances and the standouts were many.
