All good things must come to an end. The Las Vegas Raiders started this season out with an impressive couple of wins as they defeated the Carolina Panthers by a score of 34-30 in Week 1. They then shocked everyone with a huge Monday Night Football win over the New Orleans Saints by a score of 34-24.

That gave them a ton of confidence as they were in Foxborough on Sunday to play the New England Patriots in Week 3. However, there were no more huge upsets in store for the Raiders as they were unable to slow down the Patriots running attack.

They were gashed for 250 yards and two touchdowns and had some of their own issues on the ground including a fumble near their own goal line from Josh Jacobs that hurt their momentum early on.

While this loss hurts, the Raiders have to be able to shake it off and refocus quickly. They have a rough stretch ahead of them with the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the horizon. It’s feasible that they could fall from 2-0 to 2-4 unless they have another shocking win under their belt as they did in Week 2 against the Saints.
