NFL Power Rankings, Week 4: Seahawks, Packers keep surging
By Randy Gurzi
Derrick Henry is the defending NFL rushing champion and he had his best game of this young season on Sunday. The Tennessee Titans spent much of the game trailing to the Minnesota Vikings but then found a way to score 22 points in the second half to escape with a 31-30 win.
Henry was the driving force for them as he had 119 yards and two touchdowns on 19 rushes. For Henry, it had to be a sigh of relief as he had yet to get into the end zone this season. It’s not as if he was going to be upset about it with his team winning their games, but he still wants to be able to get his — and in this one, he did just that.
Henry wasn’t alone in terms of having a big game as Ryan Tannehill threw for 321 yards as he continues to do nothing but win for Tennessee and wideout Kalif Raymond had a breakout performance, pulling in three passes for 118 yards.
After this win, the Titans are now 3-0 and sitting atop the AFC South. They’re the favorites in the division but they have a big test coming up over the next two weeks with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills coming to Nashville over the next two weekends.
