It looked for most of this game as though the Buffalo Bills were going to run all over the Los Angeles Rams. They had a 21-3 lead at the half and then went up 28-3 before the Rams started to mount a comeback. The Bills normally stingy defense found themselves giving up 14 points in the third quarter and another 15 in the fourth.

Two touchdown passes and a touchdown rush from Jared Goff narrowed the gap and a touchdown run by Darrell Henderson ended up giving them the lead. With 4:30 left to play, Buffalo was down 32-28 after surrendering 29 unanswered points.

Then, Josh Allen and the Bills offense got back to work. Undaunted by how the momentum had shifted, Buffalo marched 75 yards on 11 plays before scoring the winning touchdown. That score was a three-yard pass from Allen to tight end Tyler Kroft. This came after a pass interference helped them out on a fourth-and-8 the play prior.

Now at 3-0, the Bills are in control of the AFC East after entering the season as the favorite. There’s no denying that the Patriots will still be a threat but it feels as though this could be their best chance to win the division in years.
