Normally tight ends are similar to quarterbacks in the sense that the top players are going to put up the top scores week in and week out. However, this week I think there are a few steals that have a shot at putting up a top-five week while saving you a lot of money for other positions.

Mike Gesicki ($5,700) and T.J. Hockenson ($5,400) are both going to be heavily involved in high scoring affairs, and I like their chances of finding the end zone. If you elect to go with a tried and true tight end like Travis Kelce ($7,600), I really can’t blame you.

But when you consider the difference between him and Hockenson is the same price difference between D.K Metcalf and Chris Conley, you may be more inclined to save up.

There are not any huge values this week at defense, and it should usually be the last position you pick after you have chosen your ideal position players. The Los Angeles Rams ($4,800) are my favorite defense this week but the Seattle Seahawks ($4,000) against Miami or the Arizona Cardinals ($3,800) against Carolina are the best bang for your buck.
