Best DraftKings Week 4 values: Wide Receivers

The stack-worthy receivers mentioned above (Kupp, Woods, Golladay, and Parker) are great values in any DFS format this week. Finding bang for the buck at the position is more important than ever given the continued absence of Michael Thomas, and the sudden disappearing acts of Juju Smith-Schuster, Diontae Johnson, A.J. Brown, Corey Davis, Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, Mecole Hardman, Julian Edelman, N’Keal Harry, and super-sneaky value proposition Damiere Byrd, among others.

The questionable status of DeAndre Hopkins (ARI at CAR, $8,500) isn’t helping matters; the Rolex of this position grouping is a gametime decision. A must-start if he plays, pivot options include somehow-still-reasonably priced Seattle Seahawks teammates Tyler Lockett (SEA at MIA, $7,000) and DK Metcalf (SEA at MIA, $6,800).

Amari Cooper (DAL vs. CLE, $6,700) is a great bet for a breakout performance and makes a surefire Dak Stack. Mike Evans (TB vs. LAC, $6,400) likewise offers a sky-high ceiling at a reasonable price, and should see additional targets with Godwin sidelined.

While Golladay is arguably the best value on the entire slate at any position, there are a number of other great wide receiver values that can be had for $6,000 or less this week. Tyler Boyd (CIN vs. JAX, $6,100), D.J. Chark (JAX vs. CIN, $6,000), and Odell Beckham, Jr. (CLE at DAL, $5,800) are some of our preferred picks in this price range.

At $5,000 and under, we’re high on Tre’Quan Smith (NO at DET, $5,000), who is becoming a favorite target of Brees with 6 or more targets in each of the last two games that Michael Thomas has missed. Marvin Jones, Jr. (DET vs NO, $4,900) pairs nicely with Stafford in GPP formats and cash game value Hunter Renfrow (LV vs BUF, $4,600) should see plenty of volume, thanks to the absences of Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards, not to mention the probable game script.

Bargain bin options include Andy Isabella (ARI at CAR, $4,500)Brandin Cooks (HOU vs. MIN, $4,500), who could see an uptick in volume with Will Fuller battling a hamstring injury, and the ice-cold Preston Williams (MIA vs. SEA, $4,500), who could have a get-right game against a struggling Minnesota Vikings secondary. Deep dives at the position include Justin Watson (TB vs. LAC, $3,400) and Gabriel Davis (BUF at LV, $3,200), who could benefit from nagging injuries to Scotty Miller and John Brown, respectively.
