Best DraftKings Week 4 values Defense/Special Teams

We certainly endorse the three highest-priced defenses on the main slate: the Baltimore Ravens ($4,000 at WAS), Los Angeles Rams ($3,900 vs NYG), and Buffalo Bills ($3,700 at LV). However, there are definitely better values to be had.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($3,400 vs LAC) have quietly served as one of the better fantasy defenses over the past two weeks; they draw yet another attractive matchup against rookie Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers. The Buccaneers have forced two or more turnovers in two straight weeks while notching five or more sacks in each contest, two trends that should continue.

Likewise, the Indianapolis Colts ($3,300 at CHI) has exceeded expectations. The unit now squares off against a Bears team that has had its issues keeping opposing pass rushers at bay. As much as we like Nick Foles as a passer, he’s not as elusive in the pocket as Mitchell Trubisky, so a pile of sacks (and a turnover or two) would hardly come as a surprise.

The Chicago Bears ($3,100 vs. IND) defense was a bit of a disappointment last year, but they’re off to a strong start this season: only two NFC teams have allowed fewer points so far. The Colts limp into this one with major injury issues at wide receiver, so it wouldn’t be a stretch to see this unit perform in a game that features one of the two lowest over/unders (43) of the week.
