The Green Bay Packers cap off Week 4 taking on the Atlanta Falcons in primetime.

Though they may be kicking off 35 minutes later than initially expected, the Green Bay Packers will take Lambeau Field on Monday Night Football with plenty of confidence in what they’re capable of. Not only are Aaron Rodgers and his team sitting at a strong 3-0 while facing a winless Atlanta Falcons team but their Week 4 primetime contest is a phenomenal matchup for them to keep rolling.

While many potential contenders throughout the NFC have fallen by the wayside early in the 2020 NFL season, the Packers have emerged as clearly one of the best teams in the league. Early thoughts of a Super Bowl are running through their heads and moving to 4-0 with a home win over the Falcons would only further solidify that.

Looking down a tasty matchup in what could be an exciting game, let’s make five bold predictions for the Green Bay Packers in Week 4 on Monday Night Football. (Note: All stats are via Pro Football Reference unless otherwise noted.)

5. Jones tops 100 yards rushing, 50 yards receiving

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones led all players at his position in touchdowns last season, rushing for 16 and catching three more. Having said that, with the team drafting A.J. Dillon in the second round, many assumed that the UTEP product was due to drop off a cliff in his production in the 2020 campaign.

Through three games, that has been far from the case. In fact, Jones has been just as good if not better to this point. Jones has 50 carries for 303 yards (6.1 yards per attempt) with four touchdowns while also catching 10 passes for 95 yards and another score. He’s been the obvious go-to guy and he’s helped the offense keep humming.

Amid the many issues that the Falcons have put on film over the course of their 0-3 start is the fact that the team has struggled to stop the run with any consistency. Throw in a suspect linebacker group that isn’t great at defending pass-catchers out of the backfield and Jones could be in line for a monster showing.

Expect that running back to continue to prove he’s worth a nice second contract as he not only rushes for 100 yards against Atlanta but gets plenty of passing-game work as well, topping 50 yards through the air on Monday.
