2. Aaron Rodgers keeps up MVP pace with 400+ yards, 4 TDs

Anyone who wrote Aaron Rodgers off coming into the 2020 season is probably re-evaluating their bad life choices at this point. Yes, the Packers quarterback and, as such, the passing offense were rather pedestrian in the 2019 campaign but Rodgers still threw for over 4,000 yards with 26 touchdowns and only four interceptions. He just needed something to reignite his fire.

Whether intentional or not, Green Bay seemingly did that in the 2020 NFL Draft. The first-round selection of Jordan Love has apparently created a monster with Rodgers. He appears to be more motivated than we’ve seen him in quite some time and the play has mimicked that. In three games, he’s completing 67.0 percent of his throws for 887 yards and nine touchdowns while not throwing an interception yet.

It’s perhaps even more impressive that Rodgers has done this while playing one game without Davante Adams and with a group of weapons that most everyone agreed needed to be upgraded this offseason and wasn’t. The future Hall-of-Famer has been that good and the Falcons defense should be scared of the MVP candidate in Week 4.

With Atlanta unable to generate a consistent pass rush and a secondary that has been burned quite a few times already, Rodgers is going to feast in primetime. The bright lights bring out the best from big-time players and that will be the quarterback as he submits a 400-yard, four-touchdown performance while still keeping his interception total at zero.
