The Dallas Cowboys plummet in our Week 5 2020 NFL Power Rankings
There continues to be shocking games week after week in the 2020 season and those outcomes always shake things up in our 2020 NFL Power Rankings. Once again as we get ready to move on to Week 5, that’s the case as the Dallas Cowboys were completely embarrassed at home against the Cleveland Browns.
Dallas entered the game 1-2, but after close losses to the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks, it seemed as though they were better than their record would indicate. For that reason, they were supposed to be able to handle the 2-1 Browns, but that wasn’t the case.
Cleveland came out on fire and scored 49 points in the win and now we have to consider that Dallas is one onside kick recovery away from being 0-4. They’re fortunate that their division is a dumpster fire, but the fact remains that they are free-falling in these power rankings.
Outside of that, there was nothing incredibly wild although the Las Vegas Raiders made it close against the Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Chargers gave the Tampa Bay Buccaneers all they could handle as Justin Herbert held his own against Tom Brady.
There was also the Nick Foles era in Chicago getting off to a rocky start as he mustered up just 11 points for the Bears as they suffered a 19-11 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, who quietly moved to 3-1 on the season whereas Chicago had their first loss.
Now, let’s dive into the 2020 NFL Power Rankings and see how all of this has the 32 teams stacked up against one another.
