31. . . Previous: 31st. New York Giants. 31. team

Not everything is bad for the New York Giants. Sure, they’re 0-4 and are moving in the wrong direction. Sure, the offense looks bad and Saquan Barkley is out for the year which makes it look worse. But the good news is this — they’re still in the mix for the NFC East and right now, it looks like four wins might be enough to win it.

Clearly, there’s a little sarcasm there because someone will eventually win more than that but right now, no one in the East has more than one win. That means the winless Giants could be right there if they knock off the Dallas Cowboys in Week 5. And there’s no one who thinks that’s impossible after what Dallas did this week.

Not only that, but their offensive coordinator might have some insight on how to beat them since he was the Dallas head coach for a decade. And if we are being honest, the team looks exactly like they did under Jason Garrett.

As for Week 4, the Giants did well in holding the Los Angeles Rams to just 17 points. The problem is, they scored only nine as they had 159 yards through the air and 136 on the ground. Things are rough in the Big Apple right now.
