NFL Power Rankings, Week 5: Cowboys free-falling, Bills stay perfect

The Miami Dolphins are almost a good team. They have the coaching under Brian Flores and their quarterback is a natural leader. Sure, Ryan Fitzpatrick isn’t a top pick and he won’t even be the starter beyond this season but he’s proven throughout his career that he can get the job done. And coming in on their first win of the season in Week 3, he was looking to get them another win this week.
Unfortunately, this task was much tougher than the one before. Miami had defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday Night Football and with an extra few days to prepare, they were competitive against the Seattle Seahawks. They were in the game as it was 17-9 at the half and they made it as close as 17-15 in the fourth quarter.
Russell Wilson and the Seahawks ended up putting it away as David Moore caught a touchdown pass and them Chris Carson ran one in from one-yard out. For Miami, that one was especially hard as it came after a Fitzpatrick pick as he was trying to march them down the field to keep it close.
There’s still a lot of room to grow for Miami but it seems their staff is the right one. That’s at least one positive.
