The New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs play a postponed Week 4 game on Monday night.
We have an exciting early-season showdown as the 2-1 New England Patriots will head for Arrowhead Stadium in Week 4 as they take on the 3-0 Kansas City Chiefs. It’s a game with a lot of intrigue as the defending NFL champions have looked impressive so far and will take on one of the few teams talented enough to contend with them.
New England is a team used to being the defending champ but now, they’ve gone through some changes — namely under center. Cam Newton would be entering his fourth game under center for the Patriots. But instead, he tested positive for COVID-19, which forced the game to be postponed from Sunday afternoon to Monday night. Newton is obviously out.
The Pats sit at 2-1, though, but will now have to look to Brian Hoyer to take over the offense and keep them cooking against the reigning champions.
As for the Chiefs, they have yet to be defeated and made it look easy against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football in Week 3. Baltimore was supposed to be a team that could challenge them, but instead, Patrick Mahomes and company had a statement win.
They look for another here whereas the Patriots aim to prove they deserve the same respect now that they have been getting for the past two decades with a.certain different quarterback playing for them.
