The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won a wild game against the Chargers in Week 4.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers improved their record to 3-1 with a home shootout win over the Los Angeles Chargers. In a game known for the age gap of the starting quarterbacks as much as anything else, the two quarterbacks put on an entertaining show for anyone watching.

This was the first matchup between two starting quarterbacks with a 20-year age gap since at least 1950, and the veteran grey beard showed he still has more life in him. The teams put on an aerial display and the Buccaneers managed to make the plays they needed to in order to secure the win and hang on to their first place position in the NFC South.

For the Buccaneers, the team has now won three straight and the offense continues to look better with each passing week. Unfortunately, an already banged-up offensive unit did experience more injuries during this game, but the most important thing was the outcome. The team won and looked pretty good while doing it.

Defensively, the team struggled at times as this game turned into a coming-out party for opposing rookie quarterback Justin Herbert in just his third start. Fortunately for the Buccaneers, the team showed maturity and perseverance as the defense made the plays they needed to seal the win in the end.

There were more highs than lows for the Buccaneers on Sunday and their future hall of fame quarterback finally looked comfortable in the Bruce Arians home run passing game. This was certainly a game and win the team can build on throughout the rest of the season.
