The Atlanta Falcons fell to 0-4 on Monday and these were the studs and duds in the loss.

Things have quickly gone from bad to worse for the Atlanta Falcons to start the 2020 NFL season. One of the keys for the Falcons coming into the new year was to get off to a hot start to the schedule while sticking with the New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers in the AFC South division.

Unfortunately for Atlanta, that has resulted in it starting the season at 0-3 overall through three weeks — capped by two awful collapses after holding 16-plus point leads — while continuing to search for the first win of the 2020 campaign in Week 4 on Monday Night Football.

The troubling news going into Week 4 for the Falcons was they would once again be facing off against a tough opponent on the national stage on Monday night, hitting the road to play the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

In the game, Atlanta once again came out with a loss, dropping to a winless record now through four games in the 2020 season. The Falcons fell to the Packers 30-16 in Green Bay in the contest.

To start the game on Monday, Green Bay jumped out to an early lead and basically had control over the game the rest of the way. The Packers held a 20-3 lead going into halftime after outscoring the Falcons 13-3 in the second quarter alone.

In the second half, Green Bay cruised to the victory on its home field, holding off a late Atlanta comeback attempt to remain undefeated.

With the win, the Packers improved to 4-0 overall now entering their bye week in Week 5, remaining atop the NFC North, NFC and NFL standings. In the loss, the Falcons drop to 0-4 on the year and are still at the bottom of the league standings going into Week 5.

Next weekend, Atlanta returns to the field to take on Carolina back home in Atlanta, with that game being played on Sunday afternoon at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Green Bay will get Week 5 off before traveling to Tampa Bay to face the Buccaneers in Week 6.

Now with the Monday night showdown in the books, let’s take a look back at some studs and duds for the Falcons in the game.
