Stud: Todd Gurley

The biggest stud in the game for the Falcons on the road on Monday night was the continued play of Todd Gurley out of the backfield in Atlanta. Since he signed with the Falcons this offseason as a free agent, Gurley has put together a strong year thus far with his new team and he continued that trend in Week 4 against Green Bay.

In the game, Gurley led the Atlanta run game with a team-best 16 carries for 57 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 3.6 yards per carry and tallying a game-long run of 13 yards.

Gurley has taken the reigns of being the new starting running back in Atlanta and he will have to continue to thrive in 2020 with the Falcons.

Dud: Calvin Ridley and Julio Jones

One of the biggest duds that appeared for Atlanta in Week 4 was the absence of wide receiving duo Calvin Ridley and Julio Jones in the game. Both players were dealing with injury issues throughout the week, but were listed as active right before kickoff on Monday Night Football. But in the contest against the Packers, one of the top receiving duos in the NFL was nowhere to be seen.

Ridley didn’t record one reception or tally any receiving yards while earning five targets in the passing game. Jones, after missing last week due to injury, finished the game with four catches for 32 yards before he left the game with a hamstring issue.

Ridley and Jones are a huge part of the Atlanta offense and they need to be more involved if this team wants to come away with a win at the end of any given week.
